About Olive Bistro
Olive Bistro first opened in 1997 in Little Five Points. The chef-owner, Sari Masri, wanted a cozy café, where he could share his favorite family recipes, wine, and warm service with the local community. More than 20 years after he and his family opened their doors (and kitchen) to Atlanta, the Olive Bistro still maintains the highest standards for its food and service, even throughout the current pandemic. We still source our products locally, when possible, to ensure the highest-level of freshness and quality, and to elevate the rich flavors found in our age-old family recipes. We believe that this highlights the importance of eating locally, and we hope our guests feel the same way!

About Our Food
To learn about Olive Bistro is to know our food. At the Olive Bistro, our guests will find traditional, authentic Middle Eastern and Mediterranean meze, such as hummus and baba ganoush, made fresh daily with tahini imported from the Levant. The Bistro also offers heartier fare like lamb and chicken kebabs prepared using traditional spices and served with a traditional rice and lentil dish called mujadarra. We also serve some Mediterranean classics like lasagna, using Sari’s tomato basil sauce, as opposed to the predictable marinara or Bolognese sauce. Looking for a light lunch? We have a host of salads and wraps for our guests in need of a tasty respite from the workday.

They all complement each other, especially the falafel and hummus, topped with delicious Mediterranean olive oil, in honor of our namesake. Oh, and don’t forget the wine!
